Any one know how big these issues are?

The two commentators I would like to talk about are Nancy Grace and Anderson Cooper. I was really shocked to see in both of these shows how much is going in the world right now. Both of these commentators were very professional in what they were doing unlike some commentators out their today. The issues that each of the commentators are presenting that are unique. Nancy Grace’s issue was that of missing people. Everyone always hears about a missing person every now and then but, I do not think that a lot of people realize how big of a deal it really is. According to Nancy’s show thousands of Americans go missing every day. Nancy’s show is going on a fifty day and fifty people search. What she is trying to do with this is that they want to be able to at least find one missing per day for those fifty days to try and get results for people that are missing all over the world. This is a great way to promote awareness on the issue and hopefully be able to get some clues or results on some of the missing people.

Now going toward Anderson Cooper, you know I heard a week or so ago that the US started bombing military strikes on Libyan military targets which I found to be random. It was not until seeing Anderson talk about it that I truly have realized what has been going on in Libya. I never knew that there was a Libyan opposing group to the government for the mistreatment of civilians. There were two major things that caught my attention. I was very glad to hear that from us striking these targets it has basically stopped the military from completely destroying the rebel forces. Secondly I am very happy that it is not the entire government deciding to do this but, the dictator himself and that after the way he has been treating the rebels that a lot of senior government officials have publically denounced the regime and/or resigned from their positions.
